South Eastern Australia encompasses the south eastern third of Australia. It trails from Queensland’s pacific coast all the way to South Australia’s Indian coast. South Eastern Australia has beautiful mountains, slopes, rivers, deserts and rainforests. Temperate climate is common in this region. The beautiful landscape and warm to moderately cool climate make a perfect combination for growing wide varieties of grapes.

Vinifera grapes are very common in South Eastern Australia. There are other variations as well. Grapes like Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Semillon are also common and make up South Eastern Australia’s white wines. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, on the other hand, make up some of South Eastern Australia’s finest red wines.
