More wet and cold temperatures delaying bud break until the week of Apr 19th. An extremely wet and cold June further delayed growth. The remainder of the summer supplied good heat and light, but the start of Veraison began the week of Sep 3rd, 2-3 weeks behind schedule. A cool and wet Sep transitioned into a particularly warm and clear October, allowing us to obtain optimal ripeness.\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\t\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\tTastings Notes: This wine reveals intense cherries and black cherries, with cracked black pepper, Italian spice, rose petal, mint, and hints of smoke and sarsaparilla root.
