Total rainfall was only 13\" but it seemed to come at the right moment. Early heat spikes and a strong, distinct ripening pattern gave our rocky hillside better than average fruit. We harvested earlier than normal finishing the end of September, 2007. We are lucky to be able to harvest block x block when our fruit is ready. A big chocolate wine, with wild cherries, lavender, cassis, cinnamon, ginger, violets and tightly wound, as all of Arns' Cabernets are at this stage of development.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\r\n\t\"This small, artisanal estate has released a dense ruby\/purple-colored 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate revealing a distinctive bouquet of chocolate, espresso roast and cassis.
