Its deep purple color is followed by a concentrated, medium to full-bodied Gigondas that has complex notes of blackcurrants, cedary herbs, pepper, and crushed mint. It has good acidity, present yet ripe tannins, and a great finish, and is certainly a beautiful Gigondas in the making.
