A Northern Rhone-inspired Syrah built from cool-climate Mendocino sites — Valenti Ranch at 2,200 feet, Perli Vineyard and the Drew Estate — fermented with native yeast and about 80% whole cluster, then raised some seventeen months in all-neutral French oak. Sanguine and mineral, with black olive, cracked pepper, fennel and iron.
