Gamba Estate Old Vines Zinfandel 2011 is made from 100 percent Zinfandel.

Compelling aromas of raspberry jam, toasted oak, and allspice engages the senses, and draws you in closer for the main event. Lavish layers of bright, complex, and concentrated fruit unleash a siege of flavors combining boysenberry cobbler, oatmeal, blueberry and pomegranate, all gracefully fanning out on the palate. Well structured, huge yet restrained, polished and satisfying, the wine offers a pleasing, refined spicy oak character on the lingering finish. This treasured Zinfandel was tended with care for 14 months, and aged in new American oak cooperage to round out the rich fruit flavors, contributing a striking balance, and complexity to this remarkably enjoyable wine.
