Jean Arthaud is a Mâconnais label from the house of Trenel, founded in 1928 by Henri Claudius Trenel in Charnay-lès-Mâcon — the heart of southern Burgundy, between the Beaujolais crus and the celebrated white-wine slopes of Pouilly-Fuissé. Now in its third generation, the family has earned a respected reputation across France and beyond for its Mâconnais whites and Beaujolais crus, farming and vinifying with a focus on ripe, concentrated fruit and a true, unforced expression of Burgundian terroir.
