Bottling was carried out by hand without any fining or filtration.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\r\n\t \u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\r\n\tThe 2009 Keermont is a blend of 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Syrah and for the first time, 5% Petit Verdot raised for 24 months in 2nd and 3rd fill oak. It has a ripe, voluptuous bouquet of kirsch, mulberry, singed leather and truffle that gain definition with aeration. The palate is very well balanced with supple red berries, balsamic, dried tobacco and undergrowth. It is brimming with character and offers wonderful focus and composure towards the sensual finish. This is a worthy follow-up to the outstanding 2008 and 2007.
