Coming from older vines and a terraced vineyard in Dry Creek, its deep purple color is followed by a rock star bouquet of blackberries, black cherries, graphite, chocolate, and mineral aromas and flavors. It's deep, full-bodied, straight-up seamless, and perfectly balanced on the palate, and reminds me of a great Saint-Emilion with its dark, chocolaty fruit and obvious minerality.
