Maison du Midi Cotes du Rhone Villages Cairanne is a blend of 70% Grenache (50 year old vines), 10% Syrah (25 year old vines), 10% Cinsault, 10% Carignan. The vines are planted in mid slopes and the types of soil are clay and limestone, pebble stones. (100 cases selected)
Traditional vinification in concrete tank, temperature controlled fermentation, 100% destemming of Syrah, Cinsault & Carignan, maceration for 8 days. No filtration, no fining.
Deep ruby color, discreet nose of garrigue (wild herbs), fruity flavors, harmonious, long finish.
