As 4 red varieties were planted on this soil, we named the wine Tetrada, which also is the number that represents totality.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis wine is a blend of 4 varieties planted on the same soil profile in our Nuna vineyard. Tannat and Cabernet Franc create structure and deepness while Syrah and Malbec provide fruity flavors and roundness. The result is a balanced wine, nicely textured mixing fruits, spices and ageing notes and a long finish.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eGrown on mostly loam, with sandy loam spots, 2 feet and deeper, over calcium carbonate coated gravels in some areas.\u003cbr\u003eAverage age of the vines is 15 years.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eVinification techniques are performed in the most gentle way, avoiding the use of enzymes and must additives. Fermentation is performed with native yeast only.
