Peju is a family-owned Rutherford estate in the heart of Napa Valley, founded by Tony and Herta Peju. The Legacy Collection Cabernet Sauvignon draws on their benchland fruit for a rich, supple expression of Napa Cabernet — dark-fruited, cedar-edged, and generous.

Rock solid stuff that readers will love, the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Legacy Collection offers ripe red and black currants, leather, spicy herbs, and classy oak. Aged 18 months in French and American oak with 25% new, it's medium to full-bodied, nicely balanced, has ripe, polished tannins, and outstanding length. Drink this impeccably made Cabernet over the coming 10-12 years or more. Drink 2025-2037.

Aromas of blood plums, black currants, licorice, coffee beans and cured meat. The palate is full-bodied with firmly framed tannins and a slightly bitter, rustic finish. There is a lot to like in spite of the rustic finish. Drink or hold.
