Review:
The 2012 Pouilly-Fuissé Vignes Blanches has a very composed and harmonious bouquet with subtle notes of hazelnut, smoke and spice that blossom in the glass. The marn/limestone soils are very expressive here. The palate is well-balanced with a vivacious opening: supple in the mouth with Satsuma and freshly sliced pear notes, leading to a very suave and sensual finish. This is one of the domaine’s best this year.
